At MissionBoard ("we," "us," or "our"), we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your data when you use our dashboard application ("the Service") accessible at missionboard.ai.

We collect minimal information to provide the Service:

• Account Data: When you create an account, we store your email address and a securely hashed password (we never store passwords in plaintext). If you sign in with Google, we receive your email and a Google account identifier instead. If you connect third-party services (e.g., Google Calendar via OAuth), we also store the access/refresh tokens needed to fetch your events or email previews. We do not store full event content beyond temporary caching for display.
• Usage Data: Anonymized dashboard layouts, module preferences, and analytics (e.g., via Google Analytics) to improve the Service. No personally identifiable information is tracked without consent.
• Contact Info: Email for support or notifications, if provided.

We do not collect sensitive data like full email content or financial card details (payments are handled by Stripe).

How We Use Your Information

• To authenticate and fetch data from connected services (e.g., today's calendar events).
• To personalize your dashboard and debug issues.
• For compliance, security, and aggregated analytics (e.g., usage trends, never tied to individuals).

Sharing Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties except:

• Service providers (e.g., Google for OAuth, AWS for hosting) under strict NDAs.
• Legal requirements (e.g., subpoenas).

Data Security & Retention

Tokens are encrypted in our secure database (SQL Server with Azure). We retain data only as needed (e.g., tokens until revoked) and delete upon request. Use HTTPS everywhere; regular audits.

Your Rights

• Access/Delete: Email support@missionboard.ai to view, update, or delete your data.
• Revoke Access: Disconnect via Google Account settings; we'll purge tokens immediately.
• EU/CA Users: Comply with GDPR/CCPA—opt-out of any non-essential processing.

We may update this policy; check back periodically. Continued use implies acceptance.
